I agree that this is a wonderful place to grab a shoe shine and perhaps vent the days ups and downs to the attendant. When I come in to town I make a point to bring an extra pair or two along. The young man puts on a great shine and is a joy to chat with. He must go through about a dozen or so steps for each shoe shine. Some places are good and some are bad. This one is the real deal.

A wonderful place to stay when in town. Very helpful staff and they will always point you in the right direction if you need to find something particular. Don't hesitate to choose this hotel.

Someitmes jokingly referred to as 'Goth Ave' because the '60TH' is indistinguishable from 'GOTH' on the MAX's station display (note the area is not particularly full of goths despite the joke)

From west end of this bridge (on a clear day after the leaves have fallen) you can see five volcanoes at once. Mt. Hood, Mt. Tabor, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Ranier, and Mt. Adams. And it's not rickety or they wouldn't allow Tri-met busses to pass over it.
