Hi Just visited this charming characterized district for the first time this past Tuesday April 23rd and loved it! Such a diverse place for shopping eating and sight seeing. Didn't get the chance to see all of it but will definitely come again on my next visit from Vancouver B.C. Incredible finds, pleasant shop sales people and decorative shops. Can't wait to return and discover more about this District.

The school is now closed, and Yu Miao Mandarin Immersion Preschool is now using the spacious campus. Yu Miao is a project of the Asian Health and Services Center in Portland, Oregon. It is a non-profit organization. This is a very good preschool with excellent, qualified teachers. A great adjunct to the Mandarin Immersion Program at nearby Woodstock Elementary School.

He was also involved with Enoch Light's varoius orchestral projects in the 1960s and early 1970s. Quite a talented and original musician; both hard to find in Portland, especially these days!
