Soccer moms don't actually make much noise in my experience, and ipods are basically silent (when listened to by soccer moms anyway). Wildlife doesn't generally stand out in the open, regardless of noise levels, as other wildlife then eats it.

I've lived in Portland for 15 years and used to hang out in "Northwest" alot. I've never heard anyone called it "Northwest". I've heard "northwest portland" -just my two cents.

Great vegetarian eats (plus lots of good quality meat on the menu) in an old diner and without any of the elitism at other vegetarian places.

Their apple fritters are to die for; actually deep fried - amazing.

Tugboat Brewing also makes a stellar Double Russian Imperial Stout, which is 13% alcohol, only served in half-pints, and smooth and beautiful. It's called the Chernobyl Stout. My favorite beer in Portland.

This is actually a very useful location, as no one ever has any idea where this is.
  • Burgerville restaurant, not the best of the chain, none (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
It definitely is not the shiniest spoon in the drawer. The food is very hit-and-miss. Sometimes OK, occasionally good, and most often VERY BAD. Unfortunately repeated emails to the company have had no response and no action that I have seen.
  • Wendy's, none (guest) wrote 18 years ago:
This restaurant is fighting an image battle. The crazy people and homeless seem to be taking it over. If you go, go thru the drive thru.
